The "D" Day PDF Print E-mail
Finally after days and months of work, sleepless nights, doubts but also excitement. What started as a tiny idea, showered with motivation and conviction grew up and flourished into something more concrete, we are now entering in the action.

The road to maturity is still such a long way but we are confident we will get there.

As my father often says « Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makararating sa paroonan », which translates into "to those who does not know how to look back will never reach their destination", I take this opportunity to thank all the people who have helped us one way or another.

In France:
A big thanks to Estelle Garcia and Aurelien Delsol of APEAS for having listen to us even though what we have then was just a tiny sprout of an idea. A big thanks also to all those people who made us a part of their existence and who have answered selfishly despite their busy schedule: Linda Amirat (Warda Women), Rachel Liu (Ideo-Wear), Jerome Schatzman (Tudo Bom), Alexandra Coiffe (Altheane), Danielle Papet (Ethnik.org), Annie (Un Seul Monde). Thank you also to Sabine Lagardere and Florent Houdmon (Intermade) and to Frank Gorgon and Frederic Olive (Adije). We also extend our gratitude to Andre for his all expert analysis and opinion, to Cecile and Alexandre for their legal advises, Anne Laure and Patrick for always being there (and for all the delicious food they fed us), Elo and Sebastian for posing for us and to Chantal and Jacques for all their encouragements and support.

In Philippines,
Thank you so much for all your assistance and support: Reden Tinio and the whole THEA (Thread of Hope) family, PTRI (Philippine Textile and Research Institute) and DAWN-Sikhay. To Elma Simbahan (Transmodal Philippines), Joel Maqcuiling, Allan Pinlac and Karla Empleo, thank you so much guys I will always remember that one Wednesday we did this pictorial in Intramuros. It is such a pleasure to work with all of you. To Lennie Mendoza for all your “free” legal advises (more to come he he he) to Nota Magno, thank you also for such interest you gave on this project. To Cristy Empleo for your ability to put balance between your family and your work, to Virgie Gomez and most specially to Kuya Joe Oriza. Half of what is this project is all about we owe it to all of you. To my family (Papush, Mamush, Ate Maleng and Nunci) I love you all and thank for all your undying support.
