A little status report... |

We are progressing on our road to the creation of Capalongas : Last year we spent 4 months in Philippines to create a small workshop in the depressed suburbs of Manila and to make the prototypes of our first collection for the Autumn/Winter 2006-2007. We then devoted the first quarter of this year to meet Fair Trade organisations and to look for distributors. We succeeded in convincing several shops in Paris, Rhône-Alpes and Provence (we will give the full list at the launching of our collection in September), our first collection should hit the shelves in september.
Hilda has left for Philippines last week in order to finalize the workshop, do all the legal paperwork and start the production. Last but not least we are almost done with the drawings of our Spring/Summer 2007 collection.
Well...we are progressing with hope and optimism !
Some news from the battlefield soon (and probably pictures) when Hilda will find time to go to an internet cafe!
