From Paris with love: Part One We haven't posted in the Blog since last week because we were in Paris to meet some Fair Trade shops and Fair Trade advocates. But despite the cold weather, Paris is still a charming city and though the schedule was hectic it was indeed a pleasant stay. We succeeded in meeting almost all the persons we planned to meet. Day one we drop by at Fair Place, a locale where all fair trade companies are gathered. It has a vast showroom that displays all the different products of Fair Trade brands housed in this place. The idea is to allow Fair Trade shops to meet as much suppliers at the same time. Roughly a dozen of brands were showcased: a truly innovative concept and an impressive excution. We also had the opportunity to meet Jerome, the guy behind the brazilian fair trade T-shirts "Tudo Bom?" with whom we already had some nice chat over the phone. He was indeed supportive about our project since the beginning. Elle a été crée par le groupe SOS qui est un grand groupement de structures qui travaillent dans le domaine de l'economie sociale: www.groupe-sos.org.
